Udel Calendar 2023-2024 – Talented UD students and alumni are recognized by the University of Delaware and the University of Delaware Student Association (UDAA) with numerous scholarships and awards. These awards recognize their contribution to society; success in your career; Student Counseling; and service to universities, states and regions.
The Alumni Club – located between Alumni Hall and the Carpenter Sports Building (or Little Bob) near Old College – presents the UD Alumni Association (UDAA) annual awards. Inscribed on the wall are the names of past UDAA presidents and Distinguished Alumni honorees, the Alumni Wall of Fame Award, the Emalia Pusey Warner Outstanding Senior Award, and the Alexander J. Taylor Siri Outstanding Senior Award.

The UD Alumni Association and the University of Delaware Alumni Wall were established in 1984 in recognition of the many outstanding achievements of University of Delaware alumni. The Wall of Fame recognizes outstanding professional and public service by UD students. The names of participants from the Wall of Fame are listed on the wall of the Alumni Club in the academic community.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented annually at the Blue Hen Awards Ceremony during Alumni Weekend to recognize exemplary volunteer work on behalf of the University of Delaware and/or the University of Delaware Alumni Association. The Academic Enhancement Award was created in 2001 by the University of Delaware Alumni Association (UDAA) to provide students with the opportunity to enhance their education at the University through financial support.

"Legacy" refers to students with certified parents or foster parents who graduated from UD. A maximum of $2,000 may be awarded individually to help students participate in opportunities outside of the traditional classroom. These opportunities may include, but are not limited to, academic competitions, research or project presentations, leadership conferences, research, service learning such as UDAB, or other academic activities.
The University of Delaware Student Association supports a scholarship program to attract academically talented students to the university.

Postgraduate scholarships support half of the annual tuition fees for most students for each of their four years at university. Students receive a one-time grant of $3,000 for study abroad and up to $2,000 for academic improvement. Graduate students are selected from a pool of applicants who have successfully applied for admission to the University of Delaware. The process is highly selective and includes factors such as academic strength, community and high school involvement, and interviews.

This program makes students' dreams come true – literally! UD undergraduates design their own off-campus learning experiences to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. From exploring Mount Kilimanjaro to birthing sites in China and researching adoption, Plastino's educational staff has traveled to the United States and 30 countries to carry out their projects. Through a gift from 2007 UD alumnus David A. Plastin, students in the program can receive up to $6,000 for their specific dream project.

Emalea Pusey Warner (1853-1948) is best known as a champion of education at the University of Delaware.
