Misd 2023 Calendar – Mission, Texas—The Mission Independent School District (CISD) Board of Trustees has approved a new school calendar for the 2020-2021 school year. This confirmation was received in a special meeting of the delegation today. The new calendar affects the first day of school, other days in the year, and the end of the school year.
The first day of classes for students is Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Teachers will officially begin work on Friday, August 21, 2020. The last day of school is currently scheduled for Friday, June 4, 2021. The last day of work for teachers is Saturday, June 5, 2021.

"The new academic calendar allows us to accomplish many things at the same time while we try to proceed as safely as possible," said Dr. Carol G. Perez, CEO. "We will be using some of the adjustments recently announced by the Texas Education Agency. This will give us additional time to try to place the device so that students can participate in their lessons remotely from safety. their homes. , and it gives our campus employees more time to do distance learning."
