Sdsu Fall 2023 Calendar – Welcome home! We are excited to welcome you to your new home at San Diego State University. Check out the information on this page to help you prepare for moving day.

Please refer to the check-in map in the travel guide email (sent on August 5, 2022) for specific arrival instructions. Before proceeding with the construction mission, you must log in at the location marked on the map. Please arrive on your designated travel day and check-in time to minimize traffic and avoid delays.

You must meet the vaccination and re-entry screening requirements below before you can check in on your assigned move-in day. If you do not meet these requirements by the stated dates, you will not be able to move to the campus.

Sdsu Poll Shows Strong Support For Incumbents Prior To June Primary

1) Upload the COVID-19 vaccine and supporting records to HealtheConnect as required by the California State University System, which includes SDSU. Your new student registration must be uploaded prior to the New Student Orientation date. All new and returning students who qualify for the COVID-19 Support Program must upload at least one support ticket.

Vaccines against COVID-19 are mandatory for all students, except those for whom the university has approved an exemption.

2) Take a COVID-19 test within three (3) days of your assigned move-in date and upload your negative test results to HealtheConnect prior to your move-in date. The test for COVID-19 can be a rapid test or a molecular test (PCR), including home testing. To retrieve the results:

In addition to the COVID-19 test result, which must be uploaded within three days prior to move-in, all residents will be provided with a rapid COVID-19 test upon registration at SDSU. Students will be instructed on how to self-administer the quick test, which must be completed within one (1) hour of registration. Students who test positive through rapid on-site testing will be instructed to isolate under the Office of Management's COVID-19 protocol in accordance with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.

Students will not be allowed to enter their assigned campus during the move-in period if they test positive for COVID-19 as a result of a test taken within the three-day period or a rapid test at registration. campus or if they fail to upload proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

Students will be given a specific travel date and arrival time based on their construction work. Transfer date and check-in time assignments will be staggered to facilitate traffic. Assignments with a move date will be emailed the week of July 5th. Wait to plan your trip until you have been assigned a move date.

During the week of August 1st, you will receive an email with specific instructions for unloading, check-in and parking on your designated move day.

Pots and small appliances (including coffee makers and Keuring) are not allowed in Premium rooms. Pupils can only use small appliances in the shared kitchens.

To promote sustainability initiatives, freshmen on campus will not be allowed to bring cars during their first year of school at SDSU. To assist students who may have unique needs, first-year students with documented difficulties may apply for exemptions and are supported. Students living in Aztec Corner, Granada, Piedra del Sol and The Tecs can reserve parking in their own residential area. Parking permits for the 2022-23 academic year will be effective July 1, 2022.

Students residing in Tepeyac, Tacuba, and Villa Alvarado may purchase an SDSU Overnight Parking Permit for on-campus parking structures.

Single parking permits are $95.00 per month and combined permits are $75.00 per month. Only combined permits are currently available, but residents can request to be put on the waiting list for individual permits by emailing the above address.

Bicycles: There is a free storage room for bicycles and surfboards on the school grounds. Bicycles are stored on a first-come, first-served basis. From August 8, register your interest in bicycle storage via the Bicycle Storage Form. After filling out the form, visit the bike storage tent during the transfer, where you will get the key to the storage room. A bicycle storage tent will be set up on the Cuicacalli trail between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. On August 18 and 19, the bicycle must be registered with the University Police. Bicycles are not allowed in suites and apartments.

Surfboards: Starting August 8, you can take care of a surfboard locker using the surfboard storage form. Surfboard lockers will be awarded by lottery. Surfboards can also be stored in the rooms.
