Scf Academic Calendar 2023 – …for grades 6-10 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., and students begin classes at 7:45 a.m. After-school options include enrollment in Collegiate Hour dorms, tutoring opportunities, and enrichment courses. Students in the Dual Enrollment Program create their own schedule with a certified counselor and college counselor.

10th grade dual enrollment students will follow the SCF schedule and class dates AND the MCSD calendar.

All students will adhere to the Manatee County School District Code of Conduct, and dual enrollment students will follow the Florida State College Student Handbook accordingly.

Partnership In Education & Scholarships

Parental involvement in their children's school often improves student achievement. The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. We invite interested parents and adults to join us as we strive to provide the best educational experience for our students. PTO doesn't require a full-time commitment, as there are many short-term things and events that can be used on top of it.

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is an opportunity for all stakeholders, parents, teachers, staff, businesses and community members to have a voice in the decision-making process to improve the academic experience of students at the College School.

Manatee County School District provides meals to students. Students enjoy a FREE breakfast each day. You can see the offers at manatee.nutrislice.com; Choose from Charter Schools, SCF Collegiate, and breakfast or lunch. Lunch is $3.00 and a la carte items are also available.

Credit is non-extending and all meals must be paid for in advance or upon delivery. Students can pay the cashier each day in cash or check the actual amount purchased that day. Checks should be made out to BAYSHORE HIGH CAFETERIA with your child's name and price in the memo section.

MCSD is also part of the National School Food Program. Applications for free and reduced-price meals have been sent to families and are available online. If you have children in other Manatee County schools, please fill out the application with all of them listed.

Teens and adults are welcome to join us for breakfast and lunch, but outside of meals, they must report a meal request to reception to save something and pick it up later. Parents of children and adults can fill out a free/reduced lunch application form. Teens and adults who want the school meal option must attend the scheduled breakfast and lunch and may bring their own meals. Breakfast is served from 7:15 to 7:35. and lunch from 10:45 to 12:15.

Kick-off for the 2022–23 season has been changed to 7.45am, with a 2.15pm kick-off. Here is the call schedule:

14:30-15:30 – after school College class – teacher supervises homework and teaching students math. Daily registration for the classroom is required – click here.

If students are absent for university classes, students must be picked up by 2:45 PM and may not remain on the SCF campus after school unless they have checked in twice.

All students attending college class must be picked up at 3:30pm and after class at 4:45pm.

Drop-off is not available and students who do not attend College after-school hours may sign up to participate in the Community Youth Club after school. Buses drop off students at these locations. may assist with annual registration fees for students receiving free/reduced lunch. Clubs have a weekly/monthly fee which is the responsibility of each family. Fees depend on family size and income; Contact the club for more information.

Intermission is at 2:15 p.m. and students must be picked up by 2:45 p.m. If students attend Collegiate Hour study hall, they will arrive between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM and be dismissed at 3:30 PM.

For the safety of all students, all drivers must remove students from the bus lane. Students are not permitted to enter the parking lot or leave to pick up students.

We have introduced the Driveline computer assistance procedure. Each student is assigned a number. Once the routes have reached the drive train and the train numbers are displayed, students will be informed in class and dismissed. If you do not know your student's Driveline number, please call the office at 941-752-5494.

Below is the bus schedule and approximate times. This year the stops will be revised as we start working with a new company. Please give us 10 minutes before and after time to adjust.

President Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld covered a wide range of topics in a May 2022 interview with SRQ magazine. Topics include lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic, the strength of the retirement program, the importance of legislative support, and other important topics.

Students from nine state colleges of Florida completed the Junior Leadership Manatee in 2021-22. The eight-month civic engagement program for high school students requires students to give up several potential weekends throughout the year. Beach volleyball defeated Lake Sumter College 3-2 in the championship match at the NJCAA level at the American Volleyball Coaches Association Championship. Ana Brodhead and Eva Serdiuk were named All-Americans.

Women's tennis took third place in the national championship and qualified for the national team. Sakurako Suzuki won the state championship at No. 5 singles.

Program Dates And Timeline

D'Moi Hodge '20 will use his final year of basketball eligibility to transfer from Cleveland State to the University of Missouri. Hodge averaged an impressive 15.5 points per game this year at Division 1 Cleveland State and will now play at college basketball's highest level in the Southeastern Conference for the 2022-2023 season.

Inauguration Manat Vs. The Sarasota County High School Basketball All-Star Game will be held this Thursday night at Hal Chasey Gymnasium, bringing the best players from every high school in the two counties to Bradenton.
