A: The District proposed to continue to cover 100% of Kaiser Premium health care costs for SCTA-represented employees and their families and to pay up to the Kaiser Premium level for those employees in the HeathNet plan. In addition, for the 2022-2023 school year, the District will provide reimbursement to cover 100% of the cost difference between the Kaiser health plan premium and the HealthNet health plan premium. For the 2023-24 school year, the district will pay 50% of the cost difference between the Kaiser health plan premium and the HealthNet health plan premium. The district also offered a $3,000 refund to employees who switch from HealthNet to Kaiser by June 30, 2022.
