As a senior intern at CFPV, I did a lot of work, from managing our social media accounts to placing junior interns. It was a lot of work, but it was really rewarding. Reflecting on my time with CFPV, I can't help but think that the peacebuilding skills I have acquired and developed will be invaluable in building and sustaining the political coalitions necessary to achieve the fundamental changes our society needs.
This experience was definitely memorable because I learned skills that helped us achieve our professional goals and also taught me to think outside the box in changing circumstances because I experienced the flexibility of the situation. If you're considering a social impact internship, be passionate about what you want to achieve. Search for a company or organization in advance!

One of the most important skills gained through experience is understanding the work culture and learning how to adapt to the work environment. I feel more confident in my ability to fit into a larger organization.

During my 10 months at EWB, I learned to be responsible, compassionate, and simple. In the search for experience, one should focus not only on the type of work, but also on the idea of managing companies or organizations. EWB's philosophy is "It's all about helping others." I saw the pure love of this organization. The experience confirmed that in the future I want to do something for the education of poor children.
