The University's Department of Housing and Conference Services (UHCS) is seeking returning students, staff, faculty and alumni to volunteer as "Movers & Shakers" on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to help move students with disabilities on Saturday, August 20, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shakers are responsible for meeting and greeting new students and their families and moving students' belongings to their residence hall rooms. Postie's last delivery deadline is Friday 6 May 2022. All First Class mail is sent to home addresses during the summer, except for parcels that must be returned to sender. Newspapers and magazines cannot be sent.

Registered summer session residents are assigned to reside in Ward D of the South Village. Even if you live in South Village D, you must move out of your spring room by the above deadline. There is no storage, and you must remove all your belongings as directed above and check them out during the spring.

Beginning Monday, April 4, 2022, the Department of University Housing and Community Services will conduct its annual SkyFactor Benchworks survey. All external students (eg, Reichardt Hall, Shanks Halls, Villages) are invited to complete the survey by Friday, April 22, 2022. Students will receive an email invitation with detailed information about participating in the survey. Those who did not respond to the survey were sent two follow-up reminders. All students who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win $100.00 worth of gift cards to the University Store.

This evaluation is critical to the University's Department of Housing and Conference Services as it helps us understand the successes of our program development and the services of various campus partners in comparison to other colleges and universities in the region and across the country. The survey assesses 21 different factors, including:

Spring Break begins after school on Friday, March 4, 2022. Residence rooms are available during Spring Break, but students must notify the campus of their occupancy by 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 This post is for Spring Break only.

On Monday, March 7, 2022, the site crew and contractors will perform maintenance procedures on one of the three boilers during the morning. That is, when this maintenance is completed, you will get colder water than normal water for several hours. Plan accordingly. Updates will be provided to East Village students who apply for housing.

Dorm staff conduct health and safety checks in each dorm at the start of spring break. Please read the following instructions and information carefully to avoid violating the Student Code of Conduct due to improper maintenance of your residence/room.

Millersville Elementary School

The "One Room Option" is for students who currently live on campus and want to live in their current room next fall. Please note that you cannot ask your roommate to participate in the selection of this room. Everyone in the current package group who wants to live together again must choose separately.

This is a selection of rooms for students who wish to live in Shanks Hall or the Honors College Living Learning Community (LLC).

This is a choice of rooms for students who want to live in single rooms (ie two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom in the villages). There are a limited number of individual packages.

Positive Change Conference

"Choosing an open room" means that you can choose any available room. There are two categories: "Selecting an open room with a roommate" (ie for students who have already requested a roommate) and "Selecting an open room without a roommate" (ie for students who have not requested a roommate).

Now is the time to apply for off-campus housing for current students who want to live off-campus. Complete the MyHousing application. Credits completed by the end of Spring 2022 will be used for verification. This process is for students who plan to live in their own property
